Blessed Are The Rich

Blessed Are The Rich

When asking people how they feel about having more money than they need, about being rich, about receiving money in general, the common response is “I guess I’d be OK with it as long as I wouldn’t have to sacrifice my integrity” or something similar.

And why wouldn’t we feel that way? Christians usually have a few Bible verses at the ready to warn about the evils of wealth. And Old Man Potter is often the first image people come up with when thinking of a “rich” man.

In fact, we have such a negative view of money that if we receive “too much,” we either consciously or unconsciously choose to get rid of it, rather than to let it corrupt us.

But ask yourself this…

In a perfect world, what type of people SHOULD have the money?

Good people like us, right?

Not many people pay attention to the Bible verses that show wealth in a positive light, and not many spiritual leaders are known to talk about being rich in a positive way.

So I put this book together – a collection of verses and quotes showing wealth to be a GOOD thing, and for each entry, a question for you to think, pray, and journal about what it means for you.

My purpose is not to tell everyone that they should all be rich – that’s for you to find out on your own. I just don’t want the Mr. Potters in the world to be the only ones who know how to be rich.

So please check out the book, either on Kindle or order the Paperback journal version, and let me know what you think!

    • Ya, it came together pretty quickly, and I’ve been working on a lot of little projects lately, so I didn’t think of it when I saw you. We’ll talk more about it soon!
